This release expands data capabilities by adding GRIB2 template 3.33 and RRFS aerosol product support, upgrading NCEP GRIB2 tables to v37.0.0, and improving xpublish DAP2 compatibility.
It also optimizes GRIB decoding performance and memory efficiency through lazy coordinate generation, array reuse, and consolidated scaled value decoding, alongside Gradle and dependency updates.
Key bug fixes resolve issues in projections and coordinate variable calculations, as well as NcML aggregation errors with pre-enhanced datasets.
Additionally, the update addresses data parsing bugs involving unpacked min/max values and unsigned variables, as well as fixing the toolsUI Coverage selector.
