Main changes:

Relaxed constraint on numpy version in pyproject.toml
Added astropy >= 6.1 in pyproject.toml for maximum compatibility

Updated default python version for testing:

• Removed python 3.8 and 3.9 (end of life, see https://devguide.python.org/versions/)
• Added python 3.12, 3.13, 3.14
