  • Add parse_package_version() and BaseLinuxHost.package_version_at_least() so tests can gate on installed package NVRs.
  • Add BaseLinuxHost.distro_id from /etc/os-release ID.
  • Add require_sssd_version() for use with @pytest.mark.require.
  • Refactor get_package_version() to reuse the shared parser; add unit tests for version parsing.
  • By default, version checks apply only when ID=rhel (downstream gating, nightlies, and signoff).
  • Upstream PRCI on CentOS, Fedora, and other distros are not skipped (distro_ids=("rhel",)).
  • Pass distro_ids=None to compare on every distro.
  • RHEL thresholds use downstream Release bumps (e.g. 2.13.1-3); do not reuse those NVRs as Fedora/CentOS gates.

- Upstream PRCI on CentOS, Fedora, and other distros are **not** skipped (`distro_ids=("rhel",)`).
- Pass `distro_ids=None` to compare on every distro.
- RHEL thresholds use downstream Release bumps (e.g. `2.13.1-3`); do not reuse those NVRs as Fedora/CentOS gates.
