Currently there is no setting exposed on a coding instance to explicitly choose which model or engine it runs on (e.g. a specific Claude model vs Codex vs others). Engine selection appears to happen implicitly/automatically, which makes it unclear which model is actually driving a given run, and makes it impossible to deliberately pick one (e.g. avoiding a specific model or forcing a fallback engine when one is rate-limited).
Request: expose an explicit model/engine selector (dropdown) in the instance settings, listing all available models/engines, so the owner can choose which one a given instance runs on rather than relying on implicit selection.
Context: noticed while a chess-academy coding run was silently running on 'claude-fable-5-1' and hit that engine's own usage limit, with no visible setting to have specified a different engine ahead of time or to switch cleanly.
