Summary

• The console header shows the running version. About, from that control and from Settings, shows the git commit, its date, and a link to the commit and release notes.
• om version, om --version, and public GET /v1/version report the same build.
• Release images and GoReleaser binaries are stamped from the git tag. A checkout of that tag shows the same version, with +dirty when the tree has uncommitted changes.

• go test ./internal/version ./internal/api ./internal/cmd -run 'TestResolve|TestCurrent|TestVersion|TestHandleHealth|TestPersonalToken'
• om version and om --version print the version, commit, and date
• Open the console signed out and confirm the header shows the version
• Open About and confirm the commit links to GitHub and a release build links to its release notes
• Sign in and open Settings → About for the same dialog
• curl -s localhost:8080/v1/version returns the build without an API token
