Install the PHP binaries that grow the frame buffers - #18

NativePHP/php-bin-mobile#46 grows the buffers that carry a screen to Swift and Kotlin, instead of silently dropping a screen of more than about 3,250 nodes. The Log with a few threads open is close to that. Its branch builds binary release 4.1.0, which main already pins through the combined mobile-air branch. NATIVEPHP_BIN_BRANCH in .env.example points the install at that branch's binaries. After pulling this, set it in .env and run php artisan native:install ios to fetch them. Points installs at the PHP binaries from NativePHP/php-bin-mobile#46. Those grow the buffers that carry a screen to Swift and Kotlin, instead of silently dropping a screen of more than about 3,250 nodes. The Log is close to that with a few threads open: about 2,800 nodes with six 5-reply threads open in place, before the native dashed borders.
What changed
.env.examplesetsNATIVEPHP_BIN_BRANCH=fix/grow-flat-buffer, so installs fetch that branch's binaries. The branch builds binary release 4.1.0. Main already pins 4.1.0 through the combined mobile-air branch, so this no longer touches
composer.lock. It's rebased onto main, and earlier it also moved the lock.4.1.0 is 4.0.0 plus newer OpenSSL and curl. It keeps frame format 4, so the Swift and Kotlin readers don't change.
To use it
Add
NATIVEPHP_BIN_BRANCH=fix/grow-flat-bufferto your.env, then fetch the binaries and refresh the iOS project:The binary cache is kept per branch, so this downloads
ios-4.1.0-php8.4.26.zipfrom the branch rather than reusing main's.Once #46 is released, drop the key.
