Stage States

Stages can take one of the following states during the gameplay which affect entire flow of the game:

State Description Conditions
Active The stage is currently running. The game is not paused, at least one player is still alive, at least one enemy has to be destroyed (on the map or waiting to spawn in the queue) and the nuke is not destroyed.
Paused The stage is currently paused. The game is paused and is still active (neither won nor over).
Interrupted The stage is considered as failed (and the game as over) before setting state to Over. This was made to block pausing the game before the "GAME OVER" text starts moving. This state is set in 2 cases: when the nuke is destroyed and when the last alive player was destroyed and doesn't have more lives. The nuke was destroyed in any moment or the only alive player lost last life.
Won The stage is considered as won. At least one player is still alive, all enemies were destroyed and the nuke is not destroyed.
Over The stage and entire game session are considered as over. This is the moment when the "GAME OVER" text starts moving. All players were destroyed and lost all lives or the nuke was destroyed.
