The v0.7.0 Windows smoke test installed and started the app, then failed the bundled ripgrep check added in #178:

Invoke-RestMethod: { "error": "Access denied: path outside allowed directory" }

/api/filesystem/browse only allows paths under the home directory, /tmp and registered roots. The fixture was created under $env:TEMP. On the runner the account is runneradmin, longer than 8 characters, so TEMP is usually the 8.3 short path C:\Users\RUNNER~1\..., which does not match the home directory C:\Users\runneradmin as a string prefix. The macOS fixture is under /tmp and passed.

The fixture now lives under $env:USERPROFILE, which is how real users reach the search (folders picked under their profile). The server's access rule is unchanged.

Tested: this workflow only runs on release tags, so it is verified by re-running the v0.7.0 release after merge.
