Thanks for taking a shot at this! A few things need fixing before this can be reviewed:

  1. CLA: the cla/google check is failing, you'll need to sign Google's Contributor License Agreement before we can accept the PR. See the failed check for a link.
  2. Base branch: we just opened a v5 branch for breaking changes (this landed right around when you opened this PR, so you may not have seen it yet). v5: remove deprecated checkOptions and checkinitialData exports #754 is scoped to v5, not main, could you retarget the PR there?
  3. Diff doesn't match the issue: the only change here is to README.md, and it looks like it accidentally deleted most of the README content (install instructions, quickstart, examples, etc.) rather than removing the deprecated checkOptions/checkinitialData exports from src/. Could you take another look at what got committed here?
