I know I was the one who raised potential concern about using Bash. I more just want to make sure people can look at the bash script and reason about the control logic and asserts. That's the kind of stuff I find bash syntax terrible for. I know AI understands it all, but I want to be in a position that we as the maintainers easily as well.

Anyways, my concern wasn't a blocker - just wanted to make sure we're intentional here. It looks like team is comfortable having this in Bash: https://filecoinproject.slack.com/archives/C08TVNKJV7C/p1772606427873089?thread_ts=1772542398.871829&cid=C08TVNKJV7C

So I think we can close this down.

Todo:

  • && (github.event_name == 'schedule' || github.event_name == 'workflow_dispatch') needs to be added, so issues are not created with PRs
  • REPORT_ON_SUCCESS: 'true' so we do not have issues on success
