I have failed xpay.
What I observed
I called xpay and it failed.
The call attempted 45 different routes and tried for 145s.
There are 41 attempts routing through the same node.
For all these routes fail with unknown_next_peer (16394) on the hop to that node.
This error-code is returned by lnd if the node is off-line.
What I expected
I understand the node is attractive because it is well connected and offers low fees.
But why are we doing 41 attempts if we know they any route through that node is going to fail anyway.
I expect at some point we exclude that node and focus on sensible paths.
