What changed
MandoCode Desktop now folds routine completed work into one compact Work completed card after a response finishes. While work is in progress, the existing transcript remains unchanged.
The summary shows the files and lines changed, commands run, and distinct approval states. Expanding it preserves the original tool calls, diffs, and approval records.
Successful approval notices, routine connection updates, auto-approved deletions, and auto-approved MCP requests now collapse with their related work. Warnings, failures, denials, and approvals that still need a decision remain visible.
Restored sessions also start with completed activity collapsed, while the conversation and token-usage lines stay visible.
Why it matters
Long tasks used to leave a dense sequence of tool cards, diffs, and approval messages between the user's request and the agent's answer. The new rollup keeps the conversation easy to scan without removing the audit trail when someone needs to inspect what happened.
