Building Land

For complete build instructions, see Documentation/GitHub/Building.md. The Dependency element contains the third-party dependencies (including VS Code source) required by the build.

Dependency Submodule Role

This Dependency submodule contains third-party dependencies used by Land, including the VS Code source (Microsoft/Dependency/Editor). Step 1 above must be run from the Dependency/Microsoft/Dependency/Editor directory to compile the VS Code source before building Land. Do NOT use git clone --recurse-submodules -- each dependency is managed independently on its own branch.
