Changes Proposed
README.md, right after "Local setup".Explanation of Changes
Hi! I'm Sushant, one of the developers of OTinstaller, an open-source CLI that installs OSINT tools into separate virtualenvs and runs them by name. TorBot is in its registry, so this adds a short note for people who already use it.
torbotPyPI package, pinned to 4.3.0 (the current release), into its own virtualenv under~/.otinstaller/tools/. Your code isn't modified or repackaged.otinstaller run torbot -- url:https://example.com --depth 2 --visualize tablerunstorbot -u https://example.com --depth 2 --visualize table. Tor setup is unchanged, so--disable-socks5is still needed without a local Tor proxy../results/with a small JSON sidecar (command, timing, exit code, SHA-256).Before opening this, I installed TorBot this way on Ubuntu 24.04 with Python 3.12 and ran it through
otinstaller runto check the arguments it receives. The PR targetsdev, the default branch. If you'd rather not list third-party installers in your docs, that's completely fine, feel free to close this.
