A Windows only OpenGL model loader written in C++. The project uses GLFW, GLAD, GLM, stb, and fastgltf, with CMake and vcpkg handling the build and dependencies.

If you only want to use the application, go to the GitHub Releases page and download one of these files:
- Installer:
OpenGL-Model-Loader-Installer.exeinstalls the application and creates shortcuts. - ZIP:
final_build.zipis a portable version. Extract it and runOpenGL-Model-Loader.exe.
Install these tools before building:
- Windows 10 or later
- Git
- CMake 3.20 or newer
- MinGW GCC
- LLVM, including
clang-formatandclang-tidy - PowerShell
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Daniel-Gia/OpenGL-model-loader.gitSet up vcpkg:
.\scripts\Setup-vcpkg.ps1This script clones vcpkg, checks out the project’s pinned version, and bootstraps it. The dependencies in vcpkg.json are installed automatically by CMake during configuration.
Configure the Debug build:

This is only needed for formatting and linting if you do not plan to do this skip this step
winget install --id LLVM.LLVM --exactRestart your terminal after installing the tools so the updated PATH is available.
