Pinned items form a leading section before unpinned tabs and groups, and you can reorder items within the pinned section. Pinning works in both the horizontal tab bar and the [vertical tabs](/terminal/windows/vertical-tabs/) panel. Warp restores the pinned state when you reopen the window.
