Unable to attach a db connection after compilation error

i tried to compile a package body without spec,
once the compilation error occurred, unable to compile again

When tried to attach the connection , no response(picker is not showing) I have close and reopen the vs code every time and the issue repeats.

But for another package file, I am able to compile
