2-way sync of folders which are _outside_ of the local Nextcloud folder

Similar to FolderSync or EasySync the idea is to sync an external, not yet folder to Nextcloud server and back.

This is opposite to internal 2way-sync.

Use case could be

• sync Notes folder to Nextcloud
• backup any folder to Nextcloud
• …

This issue will be updated to take implementation ideas into account.

I don't understand why #19 got closed. The "internal" 2way-sync still doesn't work as discussed in #19 . It's still just one way sync. If it doesn't even work for files and directories inside the local nextcloud directory, why do we even want to discuss about files and directories outside the nextcloud directory? First get the 2way sync fixed!

Good catch. I won't create a new issue in that case. But still worth mentioning, #19 seems to be the first issue for that issue, and it just got closed without a fix... It should be reopened until there is a 2-way sync. Probably just a question of time for #13752 getting closed without a fix... Tbf, #13752 should be closed as a duplicate of #19, and #19 should be reopened as it's not fixed.

The problem is, the app doesn't check for changed files in synced directories. Iirc, this was never implemented and there was never a 2way sync in the android app. You can read more about it in #19

External sync is a bit more complicated, since we do not want to duplicate data:

• external file (e.g. /dcim/1.jpg)
• file inside NC app (/data/storage/com.nextcloud.client/user/dcim/1.jpg)
• file on server

So if now such a file is changed inside NC app, it gets uploaded to server (like usually), but then it has a 2-way sync conflict between external file (dcim folder) and server.

That is one of the problems, why it is more complicated than any external app like folderSync/EasySync:
They only compare two locations: one local folder <-> one folder on server
