Android app freezes logging in

Steps to reproduce

1. Install the app
2. Paste my server URL
3. Log in on the browser page
4. Go back to the app
5. The app is frozen, after a few moments the java error log is shown
6. Repeat forever

Expected behaviour

Successfully logging in through the app

Actual behaviour

Everything seems to work fine until I go back to the app after logging in on Chrome. No meaningful logs on the server side, looks like a app bug.
