Upload Failure with "No Internet Connection" Message After Upgrading to Version 3.31.0 on Android App

Steps to reproduce

After upgrading the app from version 3.30.8 to 3.31.0, I am experiencing an issue where attempting to upload a file results in an error message stating, "Upload failed, No internet connection." This problem does not occur when using the previous version (3.30.8), indicating that the upgrade may have introduced this bug.

Expected behaviour

The app should allow users to upload files without showing an incorrect error message when an active internet connection is available.

Actual behaviour

Upon attempting a file upload in version 3.31.0, users receive an erroneous "No internet connection" error despite having a stable internet connection.

I have the same problem, Pixel 6a, also GrapheneOS, app version 3.31.0, observed this problem for a few days already. Can't find anything useful in the logs, but check it out yourself. Upload both automatic and manual doesn't work, on the website it works. Exploit protection compatibility mode doesn't help.

Same issue here. The app itself has no problem loading files from the server. Only the upload does not work. Says "Upload failed. No internet connection." This is a new issue because previous uploads have been without any problem, and there is no rejection from the firewall, either.

checking if airplane mode is on is insufficient, since it is possible to have airplane mode on as well as still have wifi on.

That said the bug triggers even if airplane mode is off, so the conditional a few lines up must be wrong.
