Bitcode connects GitHub repositories to Terminal so source context can be measured against Needs,
accepted as Gives, synthesized into BTD-backed AssetPacks, and returned with proof-bound delivery
status.
Install the Bitcode GitHub App to grant Bitcode installation-scoped access to selected repositories.
Bitcode uses that permitted repository context inside Terminal to support Need measurement, Give
intake, source-aware AssetPack synthesis, proof tracking, and delivery readback.
Repository access remains controlled by the GitHub App installation. You choose which repositories
Bitcode can read, and access can be changed or revoked from GitHub at any time. Bitcode uses the
connection as source-bearing input for protocol work; it does not make GitHub the system of record
for BTD, settlement, or protocol truth.
