Is the phenomenon normal, run well on real machine

crash before and `Cuckoo directory` option not appear yet

Cuckoo directory must not the problem.
For instance, VMAware runs the same harmless function calls in functions that according to you did not cause any issue

Did you try to run it without the cuckoo_dir function?

If not, please share a CLI output in debug mode, or send here the exact VMware version you're running, I couldn't reproduce your issue.
