Game Crashes on Android on it's Latest update.

The game crashes on Android 12 and older phones after opening for a short moment where it displays a small title screen right before the screen goes black and returns to app icons after the application crashes.

What phone do you have?

I've been trying to fix it, but it's very difficult without a phone that has the crash. My oldest working Android phone is still new enough to not have the problem. I've been resorting to sending out builds to anyone who messages me about the problem.

Hey, Thanks for the quick response!

I’m using a Ssamsung M11 running on Android 12 for this situation. The game opens to the title screen, then the screen goes black and it crashes back to home. Also, for a brief moment before the screen goes black, it displays a small title screen on the phone.

I’ll try the test builds you shared and report back.
Also, I can provide a crash log if that helps - - (though that'll take a bit of time)— let me know if you’d like me to attach it over the mail.

If you want to email me a crash log, you can send it to jacob@ (either the tpt website, or my website work). It might be the same crash log I already have, which isn't very useful. Need to figure out sometime how to make the release app generate useful crash reports.

Hey, sorry for disappearing earlier. I tested both versions of the app and fortunately they’re working fine on my phone (Android 12, Samsung M11). No crashes at all!

From what I noticed, it looks like the alignment changes in the builds solved the issue on my device. So maybe a misalignment caused the issue? Thanks for sharing those test APKs, let me know if you’d like me to provide logs or test future builds to confirm further.

Thanks! I got confirmation from a few other users the builds were fine as well.

Last thing to check would be the new play store version. Once Google makes it live, anyway. You'll get prompted for an update soon enough.

Thank you for letting me know! I’ll wait for the Play Store version and test it once it’s live. For now I’m just waiting on Google to push the update. Glad I could help out with confirming the builds :)

Google just made the update live. So you should be able to update again.

Thanks for the update! I just saw the Play Store version go live. I’ll update it on my device as well. Since both test builds worked fine earlier, I’m expecting this release to run smoothly too. Do you want me to test the latest playstore update?
