When will custom agent will return after serveral roundtrip

When I call a custom agent from a prompt, I found that the custom agent returns before the task is finished. It seems the custom agent returns after a certain time or a certain number of tool call round-trips. What is the exact number? Can we configure it?

This has been fixed in v0.0.409. The "Subagents return complete responses" improvement in that release addressed the early-return behavior where custom agents would terminate before completing their task. If you're still seeing this, please feel free to reopen.
