+OpenScreen は、無料でオープンソースの画面録画・動画編集ソフトです。アカウントも独自のサーバーもありません。録画、プロジェクト、文字起こしはお使いのパソコンに保存され、録画をアップロードする機能はありません。このページでは、デスクトップアプリ、この Web サイト、MCP サーバー、エージェントプラグインから、お使いのマシンの外に出るものをすべて記載します。AI 機能が、あなたの選んだプロバイダーに送信するプロジェクトのデータも含みます。

+### 1 日 1 回の匿名カウント {#an-anonymous-daily-count}
+
+アプリは多くても 1 日 1 回、インストールが 1 つアクティブだったことを、PostHog の EU サーバーに伝えます。カウントの内容は次のとおりです。

+- **Hugging Face と GitHub（一度だけ）。** 最初の文字起こしで huggingface.co から Whisper 音声モデルをダウンロードし、GPU を搭載したマシンでは github.com から単語のタイミングを付けるモデルもダウンロードします。文字起こし自体はお使いのパソコン上で実行されます。
+- **Google Fonts（バージョン 1.x で追加したフォントのみ）。** 以前のバージョンで追加したカスタムフォントは、起動時に引き続き読み込まれます。

+## O app para desktop {#the-desktop-app}

+### Uma contagem diária anônima {#an-anonymous-daily-count}
+
+No máximo uma vez por dia, o app informa ao PostHog, em seus servidores na UE, que uma instalação esteve ativa. A contagem contém:
+
+- a versão do app, o sistema operacional e a arquitetura do processador;
+- como o app foi instalado (instalador, Microsoft Store, AppImage, Flatpak etc.);
+- se é a primeira contagem da instalação na semana e no mês.
+
+Ela não contém mais nada: nenhum identificador de instalação (cada contagem recebe um ID aleatório novo), nenhum nome, nenhum nome de arquivo, nada sobre suas gravações. A geolocalização está desativada, e o projeto no PostHog está configurado para descartar os endereços IP. A finalidade é saber quantas pessoas usam o OpenScreen, e em quais sistemas, o que é um interesse legítimo do projeto.

+Para desativá-la, desmarque **Enviar contagem de uso anônima** no menu da bandeja, ou defina a variável de ambiente `DO_NOT_TRACK=1`. Os builds de desenvolvimento e as execuções de CI nunca a enviam.

+
+O getopenscreen.com é servido pela Cloudflare, que processa as requisições que serve, incluindo seu endereço IP, sob [a política de privacidade dela](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
+
+O site mede sua audiência com o PostHog, em seus servidores na UE, sem cookies e sem guardar nada no seu navegador. Ele registra as páginas que você vê, os links e botões em que você clica e qual arquivo você baixa. Os visitantes são contados com um hash diário que o PostHog calcula em seus servidores e não consegue ligar de um dia para o outro. Nenhum perfil de pessoa é criado e as sessões não são gravadas. +OpenScreen is a free, open-source screen recorder and video editor. It has no account and no servers of its own: your recordings, projects and transcripts are stored on your computer, and no feature uploads a recording. This page lists everything that does leave your machine, from the desktop app, this website, the MCP server and the agent plugin, including the project data that AI features send to the provider you choose.

+## Who is responsible
+
+OpenScreen is maintained by Etienne Lescot, who is the data controller for the data described here. Contact: privacy@getopenscreen.com.

+## The desktop app
+
+### An anonymous daily count
+
+Once a day at most, the app tells PostHog, on its EU servers, that one installation was active. The count holds:
+
+- the app version, the operating system and the processor architecture;
+- how the app was installed (installer, Microsoft Store, AppImage, Flatpak and so on);
+- whether it is the installation's first count of the week and of the month.
+
+It holds nothing else: no installation identifier (each count gets a new random ID), no name, no file names, nothing about your recordings. Location lookup is off, and the PostHog project is set to discard IP addresses. The purpose is to know how many people use OpenScreen, on which systems, which is the project's legitimate interest.
+
+To turn it off, untick **Send Anonymous Usage Count** in the tray menu, or set the environment variable `DO_NOT_TRACK=1`. Development builds and CI runs never send it.
+
+### Connections the app makes
+
+- **GitHub.** Builds that update themselves check for a new release every 24 hours and when you ask. GitHub receives the request, including your IP address, under [its privacy statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement).
+- **Hugging Face and GitHub, once.** The first transcription downloads the Whisper speech model from huggingface.co, and on a machine with a GPU a word-timing model from github.com. Transcription itself runs on your computer.
+- **Google Fonts, only for a font added in version 1.x.** A custom font added in an earlier version is still fetched at launch.
+- **Your AI provider, only if you connect one.** Chat editing sends your messages and the project data the agent reads, such as the timeline and the transcript. Caption translation sends the caption text. Nothing is sent until you choose a provider and give it your own API key. The provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, OpenRouter, MiniMax or a server you set) handles that data under its own terms. Keys are stored encrypted on your computer.

+The app contains no crash reporting. **Save Diagnostics** writes a file to your disk and sends nothing.
+
+## The MCP server and the agent plugin
+
+OpenScreen's MCP server runs on your computer: `openscreen mcp` talks to the agent that started it, and the server built into the app listens only on 127.0.0.1, behind a token. Neither sends anything off your machine. The agent you connect, such as Claude Code or Codex, receives project data and still frames from them, and may pass them to its own model provider under that agent's terms.

+The `openscreen-demo` skill and the OpenScreen plugin for coding agents send data only when you ask for it:

+- it attaches the exported video to a GitHub pull request with `gh`, when you ask for a pull request video;
+- it posts a video on X only after your explicit yes;
+- it downloads the OpenScreen installer from GitHub releases if you agree to install the app.

+## This website
+
+getopenscreen.com is served by Cloudflare, which processes the requests it serves, including your IP address, under [its privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
+
+The site measures its audience with PostHog on its EU servers, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. It records the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, and which file you download. Visitors are counted with a daily hash that PostHog computes on its servers and cannot link from one day to the next. No person profile is created and sessions are not recorded. The purpose is to know which pages help people find and download OpenScreen, which is the project's legitimate interest.

+## How long data is kept
+
+The app's daily counts and the website's audience events are kept in PostHog for one year at most. OpenScreen keeps no other personal data.

+## Your rights
+
+Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or erase data about you, object to its processing, or limit it. Because the counts carry no identifier, they usually cannot be traced back to you. Write to privacy@getopenscreen.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, that is the [CNIL](https://www.cnil.fr/).
