Fork not showing any changes for unknown reason

This is a new PC with freshly installed Windows 11 and I just installed Fork here. I used fork in other PC in Windows 10 in the past and it seems to be working well.

It doesn't work in my system currently and there are no error messages.
It's like this for every other repositories as well.

On the left is Github Desktop, on the right is Fork.
It is showing the exact same repository I just made.

Check if the log file has any errors. The log is located at %localappdata%\fork\logs\fork.log

Looks like this is the error message:

I never touched/modify this directory manually. I'm not sure why it's missing.

But I do have git installed in my system. It's in PATH as well.

Fork must be installed to %localappdata%\Fork. Ensure you installed Fork without elevated rights.

Ah I see, thank you, looks like it's caused by the way I installed fork.

I am using scoop https://github.com/ScoopInstaller/Extras/blob/b745b65ed1a3a19003b8316a3fb38ef1cb86ee36/bucket/fork.json#L7 looks like they are using nupkg, I wonder where they got that link.

So my solution should be either install Fork normally or use system's git.

I'm not sure if I should close the issue. My problem is resolved but I think the title is still valid.
