Recent change to text selection behaviour? #2572

I feel like there's been a change in the last few weeks (I'm currently on 2.64.0) to how text selection when single/double/triple tapping works on text in the diff section.
I'm not 100% clear on it as it's not the kind of thing I've ever actively thought about, but I feel like quite often for a line like the one below, I would tap inside it to select the function name. Now I can only achieve selecting characters between underscores, or the whole line, and I'm having to drag to select the function name. i.e. a double tap on match just select match, and a triple tapselects the whole line. This is just an example.
