Ported to Angular 17

Hi Everyone,

I've ported this projects to Angular 17 and Material 17. I am able to run the repo with only cosmetic issues for now.

Would you be open for a PR? Can we further this conversation as, after I've updated it to NG 17, I've been having issues getting it to work in another project.
