Hi, I see that this is starting to mature and looks really well!
Could you please share a timeline and milestones that you have in mind?
Would you be looking for help to develop this?
Is there a plan to create a paywall or will it remain open source community maintained extension?

This is a side project that I started because I wanted a tool in VScode that works with my daily workflow for backend development. There is no timeline and milestones as of now, I'm developing new features and roadmaps as I identify gaps in my workflow and from reddit posts on popular SQL IDEs.

No, I don't intend to monetize the product as of now. Not in the near future. I want it to be a community maintained OSS extension (once there are contributors of course 😂).
With increased adoption towards mcp driven development and AI takeover of mundane activities, I doubt how much this extension be able to stand-out unless we divert in that angle, just my thoughts.

TL;DR, this is a fun experiment, and I plan to run it for free and maintain as long as I can, contributors are always welcome, my knowledge and experience are limited to my workflows and research.

I will try to contribute where I can, especially with bug fixes.

Even though AI-assisted development and MCP-driven workflows are expanding quickly, I don’t think that necessarily reduces the value of this extension. A well-designed SQL/database extension inside VS Code could potentially become a serious lightweight alternative to tools like JetBrains DataGrip.
