Default branch changing to main (no action required)

We're changing the default branch from master to main after the v1.12 stable release.

What's changing

• Default branch: master → main
• CI triggers and docs updated to reference main
• master will be kept in sync via automation — no breakage expected

What you need to do

Nothing. Existing clones and forks pulling from master continue to work.

If you'd like to switch your local clone:

git checkout master
git branch -m master main
git fetch origin
git branch -u origin/main main
git remote set-head origin -a

If you'd like to switch a fork:

• In your fork's Settings → Branches, change the default branch to main
• Then run the same local commands above
