System clear does not clear the screen anymore

After updating to the most recent version (I think it started with 1.62.0, but not entirely sure), I was not able to run system clear anymore.

This is the output I got.

Suggested troubleshooting steps for bug reports

• Upgraded to the latest mycli if possible.
• Start mycli and run system clear

Expected Behavior

System clear should clear the screen again

Hello! Thanks for the report. It's likely because #1653 allowed styling of status messages, and the output of system is being sent as a status message.

There are a few options for fixing this.
