Bug description

Google Wallet standard EMV payment (bank cards/VISA) works fine, but Smart Tap (loyalty cards, boarding passes, etc.) completely fails when tapped at a supported POS terminal.

Upon debugging, the Android HCE service correctly registers the Smart Tap AID (4F53452E5641532E3031 / OSE.VAS.01). However, the HCE connection drops immediately during the transaction.

I flashed back to MIUI 14 and verified that Smart Tap works perfectly, confirming this is a ROM-specific software issue rather than hardware/terminal incompatibility.

Steps to reproduce

1. Add a Smart Tap supported loyalty card or pass to Google Wallet.
2. Wake and unlock the device.
3. Tap the device on a Smart Tap-enabled POS terminal.
4. The terminal will fail to read the loyalty card, despite bank cards working normally.

Solution

Please review the NFC configurations in /vendor/etc/libnfc-nxp.conf for the vayu device tree. I suggest changing the following values from 0x02 to 0x00 to see if it routes the Smart Tap protocol correctly:

DEFAULT_AID_ROUTE=0x00
DEFAULT_ISODEP_ROUTE=0x00
DEFAULT_OFFHOST_ROUTE=0x00

Note: I wasn't able to test this config modification locally on crDroid due to EROFS read-only restrictions.
