A date validator would be nice.

Should support different date formats like 11/09/2017, 11.09.2017, 11-09-2017.

In comparison with just a date regex, this would also check if the date is a real valid date.
It would support all mentioned date types. If someone wants a special date regex it would be necessary to use the matchRegexp validator.
