perpetually waiting for instance to be ready with Brev CLI

I have an instance called cogdev3. In the web UI, it says the instance is ready (so presumably I am paying for it). However when I connect with the brev cli, I perpetually get:

brev shell cogdev3 
⣷ waiting for instance to be ready... 

I remember before the Nvidia acquisition I once asked about alternative ways of connecting and was given a method for connecting with standard ssh command. Something like ssh cogdev3-host? But I can't find that issue or anything about it in the documentation.

Please advise.

same here. I'm on macOS. I also get an error when I do brev configure. Perhap it is related since I do see "ssh" in the error
