Right now not possible from within the app. See TLS with self-signed certificates, It might be helpful

Thanks a lot. The informations in the link lead me the right path.
I had trouble due to wildcard subodmain in the certificate. Android does not trust wildcards here. I had to add each subdomain explicitly when creating the certificate using mkcert.
