Often I’m in an unfamiliar area where I don’t know the names of the bus stops around or at my destination, but I quickly want to know whether it’s going to the correct place I want to go.

In the ‘bus service information’ screen (both from the ‘search bus service’ and tapping in from the bus stop screen, have a map embed of the whole bus route (as well as my current location on the map), allowing for panning as well as pins on each of the bus stops the bus service stops at.
Different colors for each of the directions that the bus service serves would also be a plus because there’s many times i got on a bus only to realise its the same number but going the opposite direction i want.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Google maps search only sometimes works. Eg, I search ‘bus 67’ and it would pull up the route, but there’s many times where i search it and it just doesnt appear or returns a building or business with the same number or something.
Additional context
If there’s a way to know if im on the correct direction bus (with the same bus number) that would be a plus cause i always get on the wrong direction bus when im in an unfamiliar area
