Support opening and managing multiple databases simultaneously in the same window panel

Problem

When I need to open a database instance and view or manipulate data from multiple databases simultaneously, the current software does not support this operation. I expect database connection management to be available at a higher level than the tab pages. When switching between different databases, the working state within each database (such as open data tables, query page status, etc.) should be preserved.

Hi @stolenzc, you can toggle this option in the General settings tab, labeled Group all connections in one window. When you turn off this option, opening a new connection will open a new window instead of attaching to the current one
