How to invoke action and pass id

Hello can you extend the sample to show how to call an action/controller on the menu context and pass an selected object and the ID.

I have two scenarios One is I need to send it back and redirect to a different action.

And the other is I need to refresh the partial view with the updated ID object, for example my partial view has update order details.
