Would a script like this be compatible with popular clients?

Love the project. I'm just getting into RS scripting, to work on my Java, but I prefer Ruby because of my experience with Rails. I've been trying to find out if Ruby / Jruby scripts are compatible with OSRS clients, like Dreambot, OSbot, stuff like that. Do you have any insights? If they wouldn't be compatible, how would you implement a script like this?

You should be able to use JRuby if the correct files are loaded on the classpath. This is just a loader. I would recommend asking more in their respective discord.

That’s what I also thought. I have asked/ am continuing to ask. I seem to get the same response; Java only. It doesn’t make sense though, because everything is compiled down into Java in the end. What I’ve been trying to figure out lately is whether that “Java only” restriction is a restriction brought on by their client, or osrs itself.

Just because they don't support it, doesn't mean it won't work. It's just not out of the box.

That makes sense. Jruby is still new to me, so I’ll have to dive into that a little further before pushing the scripting. Thanks for the insight!

Well, JRuby generates class files, so it should load in most bots. Best of luck.
