Subscription checkout hides Viva payment option for selling-plan carts #35

Hi Team,
I'm testing the Shopify subscriptions reference app with the Viva Shopify-approved payment app. When a cart contains a subscription (selling plan) product and I proceed to checkout, the Viva payment option is not shown. For normal (non-subscription) carts, Viva appears.
Questions
• Does the reference app need any changes to allow subscription-capable third-party payment apps (like Viva) to show in checkout for selling-plan carts?
• If this is expected behaviour, what capability or configuration is required on the payment app side to make it appear for subscription checkouts?
Context
• Reference app: Shopify subscriptions reference app (latest from repo).
• Payment app: Viva (approved Shopify payments app).
• Behaviour: Viva present for non-subscription carts; absent when a selling plan is in the cart.
