I took a look at this request. The Roo Code marketplace catalog is served from a remote API (not stored in this repository), so adding a new MCP server like microsoft/DebugMCP would be a backend catalog change rather than a code change in this repo.

That said, here is what I found regarding a potential path forward:

1. The marketplace fetches MCP items from an API endpoint (/api/marketplace/mcps) via RemoteConfigLoader. Items are validated against the mcpMarketplaceItemSchema from @roo-code/types.
2. Adding microsoft/DebugMCP to the marketplace would require adding an entry to the backend catalog that serves this API, with the appropriate metadata (name, description, tags, installation config, etc.).
3. This is not something that can be addressed with a PR to this repository.

I would suggest the Roo Code team evaluate microsoft/DebugMCP (https://github.com/microsoft/DebugMCP) for inclusion in the marketplace catalog on the backend side. The server looks like a solid fit -- it enables AI agents to debug code in VS Code with breakpoint setting, stepping, variable inspection, and expression evaluation across many languages.
