 The lua plugin has been equipped with a method to utilize the actor subsystem of MQ. This system will allow script writers to communicate between scripts, clients, or even external applications using the same framework that is available [to plugins](../plugins/developing/actors.md). There are some few specializations unique to lua, and this document aims to provide a reference for them.
