UI elements in the items tab should be dynamically repositioned when the window size changes.

The UI elements don't respond dynamically to window size changes.

How to reproduce the issue

1. Open the items tab.
2. Resize the window such that window height > width which enables portrait mode.
3. Switch back to original size. The layout is now "stuck" in portrait mode and doesn't change back.

This is reproducible very easily on sway, a tiling compositor, by just opening a second window which makes both windows fill up ~50% of the screen each. Not sure how to reproduce this on windows or other linux WMs/DEs.
