Unable To Control LED's

I have a non-pro 5M, but I've added a LED strip and connected it using the LED header on the motherboard.

Console comes back with "LEDs are not equipped or properly configured on this printer"

I've used the 'GuppyScreen' variant of the older Klipper mod before and was able to adjust them with that, so not sure what the issue is.

I've also tried disconnecting them and plugging them back in to see if that would work, did not.

Hello! This isn't an issue on your end but with the code. Right now if it's just the standard 5M I have it disable filtration/LED control (as it's not equipped)

I've wanted to test compatibility with "custom" LEDs, so this is great!

Are you/were you able to control them ever through stock firmware? If so I can just add a setting for it

Additionally, the send commands button will open up a window that allows you to send G/M code commands to the printer

LEDs on: ~M146 r255 g255 b255 F0
LEDs off: ~M146 r0 g0 b0 F0

No, I haven't ever been able to control my LED's through anything stock. Well, other than using the Orca-Flashforge slicer- but I don't want to use that. I'd also have to click the button multiple times for it to work.

Using the commands worked, both for turning on and off.

Perfect! I'll add a setting to override disabling of the LEDs on the standard 5M for yourself and other users with a custom LED strip

This should be fixed now whenever you have time to give it a try! You can download the latest exe here and then enable the Custom LEDs option in the settings menu.

Worked just fine!

Although, I did have to edit my custom camera link through the actual config file. Didn't seem to work when putting it into the UI. I didn't have to do this when using the previous version.

Not a big deal though, works fine now that I changed it in the config.

I wanted to add that I just noticed the temperature control for both the extruder and bed no longer work. This also worked fine in the other version.

This one does not. Set and Cancel buttons don't function either, have to close the window through the taskbar.

If you'd like to test the Electron rewrite I'm currently working on, that would be a huge help! I can link a build here when I get home, and would need to make the same fix to that for you to control your LEDs.

For the temperature control issue it looks like some changes got out of sync either within the repo or my local copy, resulting in the incomplete new dialogs being used. (I had originally created the project with rider and only recently started working directly out of the GitHub folder). That will be an easy fix.

Regarding the issue with the custom camera URL, once you put that into your config.json, does it properly show that it's enabled + the URL in the settings menu?

That sounds great, I'll be on the lookout for that in the meantime!

As for the camera, yes. Once I put the link into the config.json, it works properly on the UI and also shows the URL.

To test again, I just removed the link from config.json and the UI, saved, and then put the link only in the UI. It seemed to work this time. Not sure what was with it previously, could've been something on my part.

Edit: Forgot to also mention the "Send Cmds" does not work now either, UI hangs and crashes after pressing send.
