We (initiated at the project scouting working group but possibly also useful to other working groups in OpenRail) plan to have monthly community meetings with different topics, where we invite people from the OpenRail members and other interested parties to specific topics. We plan that ahead for a couple of months and put up an agenda and a description of presentations and discussions we will have there. For this we need a space on the web site, so that we can easily share that with others. The meetings should be open to the public in general. We still have to figure out how to manage the meeting invitations, but we can add that later.
