    <p class="eyebrow">Personal deployment</p><h1>Deployment terms</h1><p class="lead">Effective date: 4 October 2026. Repo Steward is a locally operated tool for its operator's own GitHub projects and authorized Google site properties.</p>
    <h2>Scope of this deployment</h2><p>This informational website does not provide a hosted Repo Steward account, paid subscription or service-level commitment. The local operator controls the application, credentials and selected publication jobs.</p>
    <h2>Authorized actions</h2><p>Use only accounts, repositories and site properties you own or are authorized to manage. Review publication content and requested OAuth permissions before approving them. GitHub and Google actions remain subject to those services' terms and policies.</p>
    <h2>Search submissions</h2><p>Publishing a page or submitting a sitemap does not guarantee crawling, indexing, ranking or traffic. Search engines decide those outcomes. The application's submission receipts and index inspection results describe different stages.</p>
    <h2>AI-assisted content</h2><p>AI drafts require operator review. Check that published descriptions, links and claims match the project, and that the operator has permission to publish the included files. AI provider availability and usage limits are controlled by the configured providers.</p>
    <h2>Data and access</h2><p>Google access and local data handling are described in the <a href="privacy.html">privacy policy</a>. Keep the local panel, credential files and backups under the operator's control. Revocation and deletion steps are described in that policy.</p>
