Suggestions for Chapter 01 – Welcome – Intro to AI for GLAM
A visual aid/demo/image of AI would be helpful early as a way to introduce what the curriculum will cover.
Example: displaCy has an interactive tool to demo Name Entity Recognition in text and a user may enter own text and play with results. No registration or login is required.
Add an example of how AI is used in everyday life, this might include:
- Recommendation system ('You might also like...')
- Facial recognition
- Autonomous driving cars
- AI/ML related features on smart phones
