In Settings > Appearance > Channel tabs, there is no option to download the Posts tab from a channel. The Posts to Community feature is sometimes used by creators to communicate with their fans. There was a time when a creator I liked damaged the hard drive containing their video footage and disappeared for over half a year while trying to recover the lost data and waiting for a data recovery company. Without that tab, I wasn’t able to stay up to date on the situation.
Other creators I follow use this feature to announce live meetups and charity events, announce upcoming videos, upcoming live streams, or even hold polls on topics of interest to viewers for their next videos. Without this option, I’m left out of the loop and have to go to the YouTube website, which defeats the purpose of this app.
