Describe the bug

On Android Version after the Captions update, if you use Native Captions, all coloured text in captions breaks. This is not a problem if you disable Native Captions, but disabling Native Captions means that you cant change caption size at all, often resulting in massively oversized captions.

Note: This affects basically every version post 4.0 that I know of

Version

5.3.0-beta2

Frequency

Always (100% of the time)

Device

moto g 2025, Android 16

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Enable Native Caption through Android Options

Additional context

On Phones with taller/denser screens, this problems becomes worse as base captions often end up taking up 15% of the screen
