Idea: Remove all old special, category, user pages and slim down for maintainability purposes #76
Description
The current site contains thousands of pages that are likely of little interest. I think we could safely remove many thousands of them, and it would make the maintainability of this site easier.
I also considered doing a change to migrate from jekyll to hugo to improve page build time, but this might not be "necesary" (could still be a nice to have) if we trim off many of the autogenerated pages

I started doing this on the 'hugo' branch in this repo but i will likely re-attempt it if this is approved to make the approach a little more systematic since the diff is not very intuitive
